We had stayed at the sister resort in april (Sol Club Cayo Coco), which was awesome and got a good last minute deal to this one in December and figured we could not go wrong. How wrong I was! The women at the front desk were rude and indifferent to anything that was presented to them (they couldn't be bothered with you). The food was so-so if not poor. OUR ROOM HAD BIG COCKROACHES IN IT!
It also had a constant smell of sewage, no T.V remote even though I asked for one everyday (by day 3 they would roll their eyes and laugh at me), no towels in our room. The selection at the bar was poor, tipping did not make a difference since service period was poor. There are 3 hour lull times between breakfast/lunch and lunch/dinner. I could go on and on in great detail about every thing that happened to us on this vacation, although we did not like this resort in the least do not let it deter anyone from visiting Cuba since it is truly one of the
gems of the Carribean.
