Curacao Hotel, Resort & Villa Reviews
Superclubs Breezes All Inclusive 05/04/2003
Reviewers Rating: Excellent
My husband and I spent the week of March 8 - 15, 2003 at Breezes, and had a wonderful time. The first night we were in the farthest building on the right side of the property, very near the street. After the first night, we requested to be moved away from the street traffic noise. The staff was very helpful, and offered us a room on the 4th floor of the Royal Towers, which was great! It was very quiet, and a much nicer room. We had such a relaxing fun time - well kept, clean facilities, terrific food and activities. We do not have children, but judging from the interactions we saw with the activity staff and children’s program participants, they were having a great time (even the teenagers seems to be having a blast!). We love to snorkel, which you could do from the beach. I even tried scuba diving for the first time. The instructors were super, and once you take the intro course, one dive each day with an instructor is included in the resort price. I took the course on Monday afternoon, and dove two mornings during the week. If you are interested, be sure to sign up for the class early in your stay. We rented a jeep one day from the Hertz rep in the hotel lobby and saw the west end of the island, including a little hiking at Mt. Christoffel National Park (you definitely need a Jeep – it is a pretty rugged place), and the “Boka Tabla” where you can enter the back of a cave and see and hear the waves crashing in the front side. On the way back we stopped at one of the many small beaches on the southwest side of the island that had great snorkeling reefs. Another day we took the “Bounty” sailboat morning snorkeling tour that went to the tugboat wreck in the Spanish Waters area in the southeastern part of the island. I recommend Breezes and the beautiful island of Curacao to everyone!
