Coral Princess Hotel and Resort

Stayed at the Coral Princess Feb. 18. Nice hotel, very clean. The rooms are older but nice and well kept. The snorkeling at this resort is excellent. Keep in mind there really is no beach. You jump off the stairs into 18 ft. of water. The restaurant on site is average or below. We had a continental breakfast included but, it is not the same continental breakfast we are used to in the states. They give you coupons you have to use then the waiter brings you 2 pastries, coffee and juice. There is no buffet-style bar. Lunch was okay. I would not eat dinner here though, there are too many good restaurants in town. There is NO night life at this resort. It is really boring. We used this resort as a base, and then took off most of the days. If you get a great deal, stay at the Coral Princess. If not, look elsewhere. Don't know if I would stay here again.

Coral reefs, dive shop draw snorkelers, divers
- Set a mile and a half north of the town center, this resort offers scuba-diving lessons and snorkeling right off the seafront.
- Accommodations include simple studios and one- and two-bedroom suite-like "villas" with kitchens and sea-view balconies.
- Pools feature misted sundecks. A sand terrace offers more sunbathing space and a spa tub. Kids enjoy complimentary activities.
- Rooms are available only in the European Plan, which includes room accommodations only.
