Rhymer's Beach Hotel, Cane Garden Bay 03/28/2005

A 2-star rating is really not generous enough for the overall value of Rhymer's... in the value department, it is way up there. This is a simple, no-frills place. It is not anything fancy, BUT, where else could you stay right on such a gorgeous beach for about one Ben Franklin per night?? Our room was small, but had a small refrigerator, stove, TV, phone, AC, and a walk-out onto a small balcony.
Our room wasn't one of the closest ones to the beach -- it would be worth requesting one closer, for a nice view.
This location of Rhymer's is great -- right in the middle of Cane Garden Bay's action. Plenty of food and drink options within steps... if you find yourself needing to crawl back home, no problem!
The ladies at the front desk were very cordial and took good care of us.
If you aren't a "high-maintenance" traveler and just want to plop on a beautiful beach for not a lot of money, this is your place.
