The Standard of the hotel was not as high as I would have expected.
The rooms were well turned out, but a little dated. We had a superior room which included a small TV (with no arial so was fairly useless).
The room did have air conditioning which was a god send, but it was rather noisy when turned on.
The pool area was clean and tidy and the pool was cleaned daily.
Food in the hotel was of an OK standard. Breakfast and Dinner were of a good quality but the lunch was average (burgers and chicken every day and not very well cooked)
The beach was fantastic - white sand and turquoise blue sea.
The Beach vendors were not intrusive and were very friendly.
One point to note is that a number of the bar staff at the hotel were not very friendly. It sometimes felt like you were doing something wrong when you were asking for a drink.
We were not bothered by any insects or animals during our stay
I WOULD recommend going on the circumnavigation of the island on the Wadadli Cats boat - a fantastic day and this can be booked from either the hotel reception or from one of the vendors on the beach.
On the whole though, a smashing holiday in a fantastic setting.
