British Virgin Islands Restaurant & Dining Reviews

First the good. We had an attentive and adequate waitress. The overall atmosphere is good, with it's open air setting right on the water. OK folks, that's it. Now the Bad. A couple of minor things first. The way the restaurant is situated results in no breeze. A couple of celing fans would have been nice. The waitress brought out seared tuna (pretty much the only good thing we ate) out with chopsticks, they were still in the cheesy, take-out wrapper. An iced-tea refill resulted in another $2. Then it got worse. The conch chowder was the consistnecy of water and very bland. The lobster ravioli was far undercooked, and had absolutley no taste of lobster. The calamari was super fried and had no taste. The beef skewers were good size, but again absolutely no taste. And the spring rolls were not drained after frying, which resulted in a nice tablespoon of oil each time you took a bite. Again, no flavor. Has the chef ever heard of SALT? I felt like taking some of the dishes back to him and asking him to taste them and tell me what it takes like. Sorry to be so negative, but the $80 spent for two was a complete waste.
