Our Favorite after a 14 day stay on Anguilla. Went there twice, our last two nights. Would have gone more but didn't try it 'till too late. Heard some negative things about it when we first got to Anguilla and cancelled our reservation. Bad idea. It was wonderful and after almost 2 weeks of dining in Anguilla it was very refreshing in both the service and the food. It seemed like a fast food joint after some of our other dining adventures on the island (wondering if our food would ever arrive at some places, and then wishing it hadn't at others). Not at Straw Hat, the food was excellent and came out fast, hot and excellent. The chef is from Seattle and it shows in his seafood dishes. Seasoned perfectly.
Favorites:
conch, spring roll, gazpacho, wahoo ceviche, crayfish, steak, chicken and a wahoo special with the best rice and peas on the island.
Service was great and the French manager helped us find another taxi when ours didn't show up.
